Three ways you can help the Lib Dems to win in North Somerset
Mike Bell and the Liberal Democrats are campaigning to win for North Somerset. With your help they can mount a real challenge against the parties of the past and make a real difference for our community. Don't leave it until polling day - help us to win for North Somerset today. Register to help us win
Register today to help us! By registering on this web site, you can sign up for our FREE email news digest service (updating you with the latest news from Mike Bell and the Liberal Democrats locally) and campaign updates. By keeping in touch with what we are doing directly, you get the news from our campaign first. You can also register to help our campaign in other ways. A good display of posters across the area will demonstrate that the Liberal Democrats stand a great chance here - sign up for a window or garden poster (stake board) for the Liberal Democrats at the next election. Our campaign depends on volunteers, specifically to help us get our message out to voters, and to encourage all of those who want to see the Lib Dems win to vote on polling day. Please register today if you can spare a little time each month to deliver leaflets, if you could help on polling day (to remind people to vote) or if you could do some clerical work such as stuffing envelopes or phoning supporters. Finally, please register to tell us that you will be supporting the Liberal Democrats at the next election - your support will be warmly welcomed. Make sure you can vote
At each election, many people fully intend to vote but then end up busy on polling day and don't get the chance to make their voice heard. To win here in North Somerset, the Liberal Democrats will need every single vote possible. Make sure your vote and your voice heard by applying for a postal vote. Every elector is entitled to vote by post, and your ballot paper will be sent to you around two weeks before polling day, with clear instructions and a reply paid envelope. You can vote at home, and return your vote before polling day - otherwise it's so easy to forget! If you are a registered elector in North Somerset (Weston-super-Mare or Woodspring parliamentary constituencies), you can get a postal vote by using the link below - your completed request is then sent directly to the Election Returning Officer. If you are not sure if you are on the electoral register and entitled to vote, you can either use the link below to register, or call North Somerset Council election services department on 01934 888888. Join the Liberal Democrats
Unlike the Conservatives, who receive many large donations from big businesses and multi-millionaires, the Liberal Democrats rely on our members and supporters for funding. With thousands of people across the country making a small donation, we raise the funds to pay for leaflets, newspapers and campaigning. In order to win locally, our campaign will have to at least match the well funded Conservative campaign. Every extra pound we have to spend here in North Somerset on the campaign will be used to get the message across. As a member of the Lib Dems, as well as helping to fund our campaign, you receive regular newsletters, invites to our social and political events and the chance to vote for the election of our local candidates and Party Leader. Whatever you can afford, your support will make a real difference to our local campaign. You can join by clicking on the link below or by sending a cheque payable to "Liberal Democrats" to Mike Bell, 54 George Street, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 3AS. Thank you!
