Mike Bell is calling for the pedestrian crossing in Central Way to be repaired

Local Liberal Democrat Parliamentary campaigner Mike Bell is calling for the pedestrian crossing on Central Way in Clevedon to be repaired after it had been out of action for several weeks.

The crossing on the busy Central Way is well used by residents to get to the town's Tesco store.

Mike Bell said: "The pedestrian crossing has been out of order for a few weeks now and needs attention.

"I have spoken to the Highways Department at North Somerset Council and they have assured me that it will be back in working order within the next week or so."
